This past year, Mr. Victor Bah and the African Dance program celebrated it’s 10th anniversary. Over the past years the program has grown from 4 dancers in one class to a program involving over 50 students in 4 different levels, an audition process, and even an omega class. As the program has grown so has the competition. Mr. Bah has recently started scaling down class sizes due to an almost overwhelming list of dancers. “It’s gotten to the point where now I even hold auditions for drummers because there are so many interested guys that want to do it now that we’ve started showcasing the drummers more this year” says Bah.
